But How Did We Get Here?
All of the stops along the way helped provide the experience which turned into the expertise that we have today.
2015
As a Civil Air Patrol Cadet, Alex attended the first Cyber Defense Familiarization course at Lackland Joint AFB in San Antonio, TX. This sparked an interest in Cyber Security and technology.
2016-2017
Alex attended Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Information Technology. During this time, he worked as an IT intern at a local media group in Appleton, WI.
After 1 year at the university, Alex left to attend Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI where he pursued Information Systems Security.
After 1 semester of the aforementioned program, Alex switches to Professional Communications, where he will take 2 months of classes before leaving the college entirely.
2018-2019
Alex worked as an IT Technician for a property management company in Oshkosh, WI where he oversaw and managed the information systems for apartment properties across 3 midwest states and totaling over 100 end-users.
During this time Alex found an interest in videography and film. He decided to start a video company called Peak Productions with nothing more than an iPhone and a burning passion to learn.
2019-2020
Alex left the property management company in search for opportunities that would help him grow the skills needed to run a video business. He began work at the top social media management agency in Appleton, WI where he was encouraged to continue freelancing and growing his side business in pursuit of honing his creative crafts of videography, photography, and graphic design alongside social media management strategies.
2020-2022
Alex moved his family from Wisconsin to Colorado where he found work with one of the world’s top ministries doing specialized marketing work. This allowed him to dive deeper into learning the technical aspects of digital marketing.
During this time, AV Media was born.
2022
Alex left the ministry to begin work at a media agency based out of Missouri where he performed primarily social media advertising for a number of large accounts.
2023 - Present
Alex left the media agency to pursue AV Media full time. His experience over the years has given him the unique advantage of learning many technical and creative skills from all over the country, and he is able to provide a uniquely efficient experience for his clients through AV Media.
